This site was built for the city of Houston and the NCAA to promote and inform attendees about the events and facilities surrounding the 2016 Final Four in Houston. It is a 14 page site that features modern, angled responsive design built in WordPress.
The work we performed on this site was extremely well received by both the NCAA and the Houston Final Four Host Committee, so much so that we were awarded the design and builds for the 2017 and 2018 Final Four Host city websites.
My Role
I worked with the Houston NCAA Final Four Host Committee to gain the business for building the website. I created the estimate and timeline, as well as handled the brief and negotiation with the client for the design and build of the site. Once we were approved for the business, I then directed the design and build. I also helped ensure required assets were transferred for development in a timely manner. One challenge during this build was to ensure that the angled portions of the design were able to reflow properly on different size screens.
