The Jarritos Mex-It-Up landing page was built for the 21 and up age group and showcases fun examples of mixed drinks that consumers can make with the Jarritos product line. It features a responsive landing page with age verification and single recipes views that are sharable on social media. We also developed two display banner concepts to accompany the landing page’s media buy.

The compression for the animation files were quite challenging based on the requirements of the design. The Adobe Animate HTML5 compression algorithm had to be overridden by bringing the spritesheet output from Animate into Photoshop and then edited, recompressed and then ran through TinyPNG.

My Role

I worked with the creative agency to perform the project management, estimates, quotes, negotiations and final payment. I also assigned and negotiated rates with the development vendor. When needed I jumped in to provide cross-browser/cross-platform testing, as well as programatic edits to the landing page and banner code to help increase the production value. I also worked with the creative agency’s developer to migrate the landing page to the client’s server.
